He is survived by: his daughter Tamika Hawkins; his significant other Lorena Ruth; his grandchildren, Tamika Johnson, Colby Johnson, Brandae'Reynolds and Avante'Johnson; his great grandchildren, Jamarcus Johnson Cashmere Woods and Cai; his son Woods (Sa'mir Johnson); his godchildren, Sirr Keels, Darius Hawkins, Sophia Mishoe and Leslie-Lorena Wesson; his stepchildren, Shtameka Carson, Corrie Ruth and Renia Ruth; his siblings, June Hawkins, Sarah Evans (Maurice), Randy Hawkins (Valerie), Andre Hawkins, Timothy Hawkins (Lynn), Zelma Hawkins-Cobb (Donald) and Sylvia Hawkins (Richard); and his sisters-in-law, Navylnn and Mary Hawkins. He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, and Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends, Neighbors.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lakeshore Memorial Services (11939 James St, Holland, MI 49424).
