She was predeceased by: her parents, Evert Meiste and Sena Meiste. She is survived by: her husband Paul Houtman; her children, Lynda Gravier (Bill Troutman), Carmen Berens (Steve), Sarah Karkosh (Alan) and Bryan Houtman (Heather); and her grandchildren, Anna Gravier Symmes (Matthew), Kevin Gravier, Molly Gravier, Amanda Teske, Morgan Teske, Tyler Berens, Kyle Karkosh, Shane Karkosh, Alison Callahan (Daniel), Kennedy Hill (Jeremy) and Ryan Houtman. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Langeland-Sterenberg (315 E 16th St, Holland, MI 49423).
