With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rosalyn Joan Vander Ploeg of Holland, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvin Zoerhoff and Mabel Zoerhoff; her former husband Laverne Vander Ploeg; her brother Laverne "Kearny"; and her sisters-in-law, Viny Zoerhoff and Bea Vander Ploeg.
She is survived by: her husband Vern Vander Ploeg; her sons, Kirk Vander Ploeg (Linda) of Kentwood, Greg Vander Ploeg (Shirley) of Muskegon and Mark Vanderploeg (Sandy) of Holland; her grandchildren, Matthew Vander Ploeg (Elizabeth), Ryland Vanderploeg and Maya Vanderploeg; her great grandchild Lucy Rosalyn Vander Ploeg; and her in-laws, Al Vander Ploeg of Holland and Mike Vander Ploeg (Carrie) of Holland Funeral.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home (315 E 16th St, Holland, MI 49423-4213). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holland Christian Schools and Hospice of Holland.
