He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Kleis and Cornelia Kleis. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Van Ry; his daughters, Nancy (Ron Richey) of Houston, TX and Sally (Gregg Harper) of Holland; his grandchildren, David Richey, Emily Herwaldt, Kristin Filkins and Katie Wagner; his sister Charlotte Van Haitsma (Dale); and his sister-in-law Margaret Kleis.
