He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vredeveld and Pearline Vredeveld (O'Donnell); his brother Len; and his granddaughter Aleyah VanFleeren. He is survived by: his children, Tracy VanFleeren (Cerry), Tom Vredeveld and Tim Vredeveld (Joanne); his siblings, Gary Vredeveld (Deb) and Pam Lockwood (Jim); his former wife Nancy Vredeveld (Schreur); and his grandchildren, Mikayla Welcher (Logan), Vanessa Haynor (Warren), Jaydon Vredeveld, Faith Vredeveld, Desmond Kolean-Burley (Devon) and Autumn Chorney (Natasha).
