He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Terry; his children, Sara Czubaroff (Levin), Patrick Swaney (Stacy), Katy Swaney and Mary Murray (Drew); his siblings, Jean Swaney, Sandy Lecklider, Bill Swaney (Nancy), Shirley Swaney, Rusty Swaney and Cort Lecklider; and his parents, Marian Swaney and Russell Swaney. He was also cherished by his 6 grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Association of West Michigan.
