He was predeceased by: his brother Gene David; his son John Moriarity; and his grandson Preston. He is survived by: his wife Ruthann David (Tefft); his children, Rachelle Berggoetz (Paul), Cheri Sanders, Ramon David (Jessica), Debbie Barton (Robert), Candi Munson (Robert) and Holly Moriarity; and his grandchildren, Briahnna, Jackson, Michael, Terell, Bianca, Gabriella, Alyssa, Kayla, Cheyenne, Gavin, Eva, Josh, Summer, Tally and Lila. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a GoFundMe page to help defray final expenses.
