He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dotty; his children, Ethan Van Drunen (Jamie Vinson), Kate Rietema (Tony) and Angela Day (Amy); his grandchildren, Sierra, Ellery, Raina, Piper, Addilyn Rietema, Wilder and Laken; his parents, Rev. Seymour Drunen and Wilma Van Drunen (Roorda); his siblings, Joy VandenBrink (Don), Doris VanderMeulen (David), Charles Van Drunen (Susanne) and Steven Van Drunen; and his in-laws, Glenn, Edythe Mannes (Fiet), Robert, Rose Mannes, Chuck, Nancy Mannes, Jeanne DeWys (Kelly) and Tom Mannes (Bonnie).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home (315 E 16th St, Holland, MI 49423). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Central Wesleyan Church (446 W 40th St, Holland, MI 49423).
