He was predeceased by: his former wife Flo McKeever (Erwin); his sisters, Beverly, Wilma, Wanda Rankin (Jim) and Eileen Hallman (George); his daughter Kandi Carman; and his parents, Harry Lewis McKeever and Carrie "Camilla" McKeever (Reamer).

He is survived by: his children, Kathy Brower (Dale), Doug McKeever (Tammy), Karen Klingberg (Scott) and Kelly Rasmussen (Kevin); his grandchildren, Ruthie, Travis, Darla, Dylan Brower, Shawn, Adam McKeever, Jill Mulder, Abby Klingberg, Stacey Palmberg, Kyle, Kenny, Kari, Kaden, Kathleen, Kian Rasmussen and Lydia Carman; his great grandchildren, Mia, Ingrid, Rowan, Elsie, Sophie, Heidi, Sam and Freyja; his brother-in-law Dr. George Hallman of Columbia; his friend Pebby Scott; his wife Florence Erwin; his uncle Chas (Nina); and also, Rex, Don, Tommy and Flo Erwin. He is also survived by sisters, cousins and friends.
