He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Wilhelmina and Hendrika Wilhelmina; his children-in-law, Terri Walburg, Carmen Walburg and Jerry Dantzer; and his grandson Mark Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Kaye; his children, Starla Thompson (Bob), Wayne Walburg, Bonnie Vloedman (Joe), Steve Walburg (Janice), Wendy Dantzer, Barry Walburg (Denise), Myron Walburg Jr. and Marc Walburg (Jill); and his sisters-in-law, Mayme Walburg and Mae Lieuwen. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (4145 Chicago Dr SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cru, with whom Mike's granddaughter, Alyssa and her family, are missionaries in Tucson, Arizona.
