She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin "Mers" L. Mersman; her parents, George Gosselar and Francis Gosselar (Dornbos); her siblings, Robert Gosselar (Evelyn) and Joyce Hyma (David); her sons, David Mersman, Douglas Mersman and Wesley Mersman; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Mersman and Ruth Browneye (Mersman).

She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Mieras (Jim); and her daughter-in-law Luanne Mersman. She is also survived by five grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, three nieces, and one nephew.
