With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Overway of Holland, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 28, 2024 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Overway to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Otto VanDyke and Anne VanDyke; her husband August; her son Mitchell; and her siblings, Bette Metzler (Jim), Joy Cote (Jack) and Bruce VanDyke.

She is survived by : her sons, Bruce of Holland, Mark (Faye) of Largo, FL, Kurt (Judy) of Montague, MI and Patrick of Grand Haven, MI; her daughter-in-law LeeAnn Overway of Holland; and her sisters-in-law, Patricia Hoewisch (Thomas) of Cedar Hill, TX and Janet VanDyke of Wellington, FL. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (77 32nd St, Holland, MI 49423). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Elara Caring Hospice.
