She was predeceased by: her parents, George Vanderwall and Rose Vanderwall; her siblings, Maxine Vanderwall and Gerard Vanderwall; and her in-laws, John Westhuis and Bev Vanderwall.
She is survived by: her husband Donald; her children, Kirk Oosting (Sheryl), Lyn Peterman (Doug), Merri Brink (John) and Jana De Vries (Brad); her siblings, Walt VanderWall (Phyllis), Norma Westhuis, Bill Vanderwall (Joanne) and Ken Vanderwall; her in-laws, Gwynne Vanderwall, Rosemary Boerman, Jerry Oosting (Norma), Sharon Oosting and Alvin Gesink; and her stepsiblings, Alvin Meiste (Shirley), Faye Drenten (John) and Sandy Lampen (Harold). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home (315 E 16th St, Holland, MI 49423). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Maranatha Christian Reformed Church (918 Central Ave, Holland, MI 49423).
Memorial contributions may be given to Holland Christian Schools, Legacy Thrift, and Hospice of Holland.
