He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman DeBoer and Julia DeBoer (Lois); his son Richard DeBoer; his daughter-in-law Mary DeBoer (Sandy DeBoer); his siblings, Ray DeBoer (late Lois), Alvin DeBoer, Paul DeBoer, Jennie Gatesy (late Frank) and Aleda DeWeerd (late Bob); and his brother-in-law Gradus Lubbers (late Florence).
He is survived by: his children, Allen, Cal (Rett), Bob (Lin) and Jerry (Beth); his daughter-in-law Carolyn DeBoer; and his sister-in-law Marilyn DeBoer (Clara). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the 14th Street Christian Reformed Church (14 W 14th St, Holland, MI 49423). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
