He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie Koopman (Hook) of Aplington; his parents, August Koopman and Bertha Koopman (Ramaker); his stepmother Jeanette Koopman (Bolt); his sister Janet; and his brother-in-law Dr. David Van Dyke.
He is survived by: his children, Kendall Koopman (Jan) of Dexter and Lori Duda (Tom) of Rochester Hills, Michigan.; and his grandchildren, Chelsea Crawford (Zachary), Patrick Koopman, Taylor Duda and Megan Koopman (Cameron Clark).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Memorial Church (595 Graafschap Rd, Holland, MI 49423).
