He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Jonge and Angeline De Jonge (Timmer); his son Jack De Jonge; his son-in-law Jack Van Dyke; his grandson Michael (Kandie); and his brothers, Melvin, Willard, Gordon and Ivan De Jonge.
He is survived by: his wife Coralee Walcott; his children, Connie Wolbers (Russ), Karen Minnema (Denny), Mark De Jonge (Jan) and Rachel Pike (Kraig); his grandchildren, LeeAnn Suman (Tim), Joel Wolbers (Whitney), Ellen Slotman (Cory), MaryJo Lacy (Ben), Nicole Simmons (Taviin) and Alex Pike (Ashley); and his siblings, Cliff De Jonge, John De Jonge (Judy), Ray De Jonge (Sharon) and MaryAnn Smith (Jerry). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
