It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry J. Dykstra of Holland, Michigan, who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Dykstra and Johanna Dykstra; and his brothers-in-law, Dwayne "Tiger" Teusink, Melvin Timmer and Dom Misuraca.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Dykstra of Jack's Drive-In; his children, Debra Bratt (TJ), David Dykstra (Kristi) and Diane Van Dyke (Troy); his grandchildren, Tyler Bratt (Sarah), Kyle Bratt, Haley Szpara, Ellie Busscher (Ross), Dylan Dykstra (Annie), Logan Dykstra, Jordan Dykstra, Noah Van Dyke (Maria), Samuel Van Dyke, Elijah Van Dyke and Benjamin David (Kari); his great grandchildren, Frankie Ayala, Blake Dykstra, Bennett Busscher, Harper Bratt, Haven Busscher, Shaluwa David, Bridget David and Judah David; his sisters, Shirley Teusink and Marlene Misuraca; and his in-laws, Steve Busscher (Jan), Carol Roelofs (Flip) and Rick Timmer (Geri).
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home (315 E 16th St, Holland, MI 49423-4213). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Central Wesleyan Church (446 W 40th St, Holland, MI 49423).
