He is survived by: his son Kevin (Andrea Opple); his stepson Roger Shelley; his grandchildren, Catherine Opple, Ryan Shelley, Nick Shelley, Kyle Shelley and Ashlee Gibson; his siblings, Nancy (Martin Heyboer), Tom (Mary Opple) and Lois (Gary Tasior); his nephews, Greg Opple, Chip, Jason and Sean Heyboer; his niece Sarah Opple; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia (Harold Morris), David (Linda Demory) and Mike Demory.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Langeland Sterenberg Funeral Home (315 E 16th St, Holland, MI 49423).
