With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Roland Bloemendaal (Holland, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 13, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dirk Cornelius Bloemendaal and Lillian Ruth Linell Bloemendaal; and his siblings, Dirk Bloemendaal, William and Barbara Dickman.

He is survived by: his sisters, Elizabeth Walters of Rockford and Mary Ferguson of Holland; and his stepchildren, Robert Lubbers of Atlanta, Georgia, Richard Lubbers of Holland and Margaret Quesada of Durham. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
