She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Hulst Brinks and George R. Brinks; her husband Alvin Koops; her son-in-law Calvin Hoffman; and her brothers, Justin and Rondell Brinks.
She is survived by: her children, Darwin (Judy Koops), Linda Koops, Wesley (Glenda Koops), Jean Hoffman (Bill Buikema) and Jeff (Lonnie Nykerk).
