He was predeceased by: his son Duane; and his siblings, Carl Hop, Edgar Hop, Marilyn Ryzenga and Ruth Hulst.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley (Zoet); his children, Daryl, Renee Hop, Tyler, Andrea Hop, Joshua, Jenna Hop, Amber, Eben Amankwah, Laura, Jordan Mast, Leah, Ken, Mary Schreur, Kari, Mike Zwagerman, Joel Riemersma, Benjamin, Sara Schreur, Mark, Jamie Hop, Jolynn, Doug Patmos, Jill, Matt Nagelkirk, Jonathan, Abby Hop, Loren, Linnea Hop, Rachel, Jake Vander Wall and Luke Hop; and his siblings, Norma Klingenberg, Wayne (Bev Hop), Ronald Hulst and Glenn (Kathy Hop). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to Holland Christian Schools and MERF-Middle East Reformed Fellowship.
