James VanHekken Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James VanHekken of Holland, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 17, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin VanHekken and Minnie VanHekken of Holland, MI.. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Zachary, Ella, Sean, Nicholas, Owen and Ryan; his children, Matthew (Debra) of Grand Rapids, Daniel (Kimberly) of Clarkston and Rebecca McIlwaine of Denver, Colorado.; and his brother Jerry VanHekken. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Est Dykstra Funeral Homes Downtown Holland Chapel (29 9th St, Holland, MI 49423). A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Reformed Church (630 State St, Holland, MI 49423).
