She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Stearns and Alice Jean Stearns (Commissaris); her stepfather Roger Kamphuis; her half-brother Bobby Stearns; and her siblings-in-law, Lupe Jimenzez (Primo), Mary Batey (Scott) and John Diaz (Connie).
She is survived by: her husband Mariano Diaz (Mario); her sons, Mariano Jr. Diaz (Jeanette), Matthew Diaz (Heidi) and Andrew Diaz (Lisa); her siblings, Carol Silva and Henry Silva (Veronica); her stepmother Jeana Stearns; her half-brother Billie Stearns (Kathryn); her stepbrothers, Clearance "Guy" Strickfaden, Kevin Strickfaden (Diane) and Victor Strickfaden (Diana); and her grandchildren, Benny, Griffin, Mariana, Austin, Alekzander and Oliver.
