He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Marema and Hilda Marema; his children, Sally Kay Hoekstra (Dave Hoekstra) of Holland, Jacquelyn Lee Broek Marema (Ton Broek) of Santpoort Noord, Netherlands and Timothy John Marema (Liz McGeachy) of Norris, Tennessee; his foster daughter Carol Rudicill (Jim Rudicill); his grandchildren, Jeremy Hoekstra (Allie Hoekstra), Cara Maat (David Maat), Stephan Broek, Christopher Broek (Gina Plug), Carolina Sudmeier Broek (Daniel Sudmeier), Walker Marema (Rachel Cochran) and Graham Marema; and his great grandchildren, Jonny Maat and Caleb Maat. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Est Dykstra Funeral Homes Mulder Chapel (188 32nd St, Holland, MI 49423).
