He was predeceased by: his son Alan Walters; his son-in-law Ken Slager; his brother Dennis (Harriet Walters); his siblings-in-law, Ken Busscher and Genevieve Walters; his sister Jean (Lester Avink); his sister-in-law Rose Walters; his brother Floyd Walters; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce (John Brinkman), Henrietta (John Kunen), Leona West and Stu Kolean.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Walters; his children, Jerry (Woonja Walters), Sandra Slager and Kathy (Scott De Vries); his grandchildren, Matt, Nicole, Tim, Ryan, Joseph, Dawn, Jacob, Soo Jin, Dave, Emily, Mike, Michelle, Ben, Lauren, Laurel, Jack, Brett and Aera; his sister-in-law Wilma Busscher (Jerry Martinie); his brothers, Harold Walters and Jason (Barb Walters); and his siblings-in-law, Ron West and Gert Kolean. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
