It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Hamberg of Holland, Michigan, who passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Sophia Marie; and his parents, George Hamberg and Anna Hamberg. He is survived by: his siblings, Stan Hamburg (Frieda), Gertrude Ritterby (Carl), Rose Ringewold (Bud), Lorraine Helder (Clarence) and Gladys Wolters (Dale); his in-laws, Adrian Geenen (Jean), Dick Geenen, John Geenen, Marie De Vries (Don), Cork Dokter (Don) and Betty Beyer (Pete); his children, Dr. Steven Hamberg (Angeline), Jerry Hamberg (Donna), Thomas Hamberg (Donna) and Susan Hamberg; his grandsons, Matthew Hamberg (Nicole), Michael Hamberg (Keri), Jeff Hamberg, Greg Hamberg (Tanessa), Christopher Van Vuren (Tabatha) and Austin Pierson; his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Hayden, Alexandra, Charlotte Hamberg, Connor Van Vuren and Alex Hamberg; and his sisters-in-law, Ann and Louise Geenen.
