He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Dirkse (Bud) and Sylvia Dirkse; and his brother-in-law Rod Klingenberg. He is survived by: his wife Alice Dirkse; his siblings, Karen Klingenberg, Mark (Deborah Dirkse) and Dan (Cynthia Dirkse); his sister-in-law Mary (Steve Nienhuis); and his pet Sunshine. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and his pet.
Memorial contributions may be given in Gary's honor to Hospice of Holland or Harbor Humane Society.
