Faye Yvonne Cornell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Faye Yvonne Cornell of Holland, Michigan, born in Grand Haven, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 8, 2024 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her father Henry Willis (Klompaarns); her husband Lou; her son Kirk Cornell; her siblings, Ilene Carroll, Donald (Angie), Alma Solis (Martin), Ivan (Mabel) and William "Bill"; her brothers-in-law, Max Kessling, Charles Whitemeyer and Leo "Jr" Funk; her parents-in-law, Roy and Mabel Cornell (Miller); and her siblings-in-law, Mildred Stewart (Kenneth), Basil Cornell, Helen Cornell, Eugene "Johnny" Cornell (Vada), Robert Cornell (Merle), Francine Allen (Wesley "Shy"), Lester "Shorty" Cornell and Beverly Johnson (Charles).
She is survived by: her children, Lester Cornell (Karen) and Roxanne Schans (Eldon); and her siblings, Mary Ann Kessling, Carol Whitemeyer, Patricia Rohbran (Donald), Henry "Butch" (Phyllis), Kay Stewart (Ronald) and Jack Ten Brink. She is also survived by three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Overisel Reformed Church (4706 142nd Ave, Holland, MI 49423). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
