She was predeceased by: her parents, George Smit and Mary Smit (Oglesbee); her husband Joseph Merlo; her brother-in-law Harry; and her nephew Matthew Keith.
She is survived by: her children, Angelina Boyles (Merlo), Logan Fischer (Sarah Jursik) and Eddie Fischer; her grandchildren, Deegan, Ashton, Emma Boyles, Baylee, Eli, Carter and Mckenna Jager; and her siblings, Steve Smit, Michele Reynolds (Smit) and Pam Keith (Smit). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
