He is survived by: his cousin Cal; his wife Jan Brouwer; his children, Ben Kapenga (Sarah), Aaron Kapenga (Elizabeth), Daniel Kapenga (Amanda) and Rachel Lam (Keith); his grandchildren, Emmaline, Isaac, Clara, Noah, Aubrey, Toby, Jack, Mark, Grace, Malachi, Korrayah, Kreana, Dahlia, Damian, Zoe, Norah and Josiah; and his siblings, Jane Kramer (Fred), Mark Kapenga (Pam), Dawn Lievense (John) and Tom Kapenga. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
