He is survived by: his wife Sooky Bale; and his children, John Scot, Monique Bale, Linda (Bale), Patrick Hagan, Kris (Bale), Alan Jones, Mark and Laura Bale. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
