He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Laarman and Jenny Oisten; his son Brian Laarman; his brother-in-law Kenneth Behrens; and his nephews, Scott Hoezee and Dustin Behrens.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Hoezee Laarman; his siblings, Bernard "Butch" Laarman (Bonnie) and Carol Blauw (Doug); his child Shelly Finnestad (Todd); his grandchildren, Brock Finnestad (Brittaney) and Jenna Metzger (Bryce); his child Stacey Scolnik (Mike); his grandchildren, Elijah, Levi and Brooklyn; his stepchildren, Shannon Wisniewski (Lisa) and Jason Wisniewski (Erin); and his siblings, Pete Hoezee (Linda), Linda Behrens, Rose Niezink (Marv), Mark Hoezee (Lorraine) and Pat Meyer (Dean).
