He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Day and Reva Day (Cassel). He is survived by: his wife Beth; his children, Dana Snyder (Joel) and Doug Day (Julita); his grandchildren, Jacob Leazier and Jennifer Gamble (Jon); his great grandchildren, Koda Westfield and Amelia Gamble; his brothers, Keith Day (Elaine) and Lynn Day; and his in-laws, Joyce VandenBosch, Phila Essenburg, Jean Puegh and Gretchen Potts. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.

A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the South Olive Christian Reformed Church (6425 120th Ave, Holland, MI 49424).
