It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clayton Hill in Holland, Michigan, born in Niles, Michigan, who passed away on April 26, 2024, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Hill and Ferne Hill-Palmer (Wolf); his wife Jean Marie Berry (Foster); his former wife Dorothy V. Hill (Kist); his sister Janice Bennett-Berger (Hill); his nephew Lee Bennett; his great-nephew Mark Bennett; and his stepsons, David Berry (Mary) and Donald Berry (Barbara).
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Hill (Diane) of Niles, MI, Loreasa Hyde (Bill) of Lakeway, TX and Tammi Sue Mayfield (Sam Angell) of Spring Lake, MI; his stepchildren, Douglas Berry (Kris) of Gig Harbor, WA and Linda Maycroft (Matthew) of Muskegon, MI.; his grandchildren, Jefferey Hill (Mary), Brent Hill (Tina), Chad Hill (Nicole), Heather Alcazar (Fred), Christopher Hyde (In Hee), Brian Hyde (Angela), Christina Cahill (Stephen) and Isaac Mayfield; his stepgrandchildren, Jay Berry (Marylla Cook), Ian Berry, Deanna Nguyen (Bao), Brittany Burns, Lauren Berry, Andrew DiLernia, Matthew Maycroft Jr. and Alex Maycroft; and his brothers, Stewart Hill of Goshen, IN and Larry Hill (Stephanie) of Middleburg, FL.. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren and 10 great-greatgrandchildren.
