She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Clausen and Anna Clausen; her brother Bernard Clausen; and her daughter Amy. She is survived by: her husband Carl Hakewessell; her children, Peter Hakewessell, Janet and Dr. Patrick Hulst; her grandchildren, Ryan Hulst (Jessica), Katherine Hulst and Bethany Craft (Nathan); and her great grandchildren, Kingsley Hulst and Gideon Hulst.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Christ Memorial Church (595 Graafschap Rd, Holland, MI 49423). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
