He was predeceased by: his wife Amber Kuipers (Houck); his mother Viola (Mulder); and his siblings, Robert Kuipers, Adelaide Brondyke, Kenneth Kuipers, Jack Kuipers (John), Donald Kuipers and Marianne Kalpakjian.
He is survived by: his children, Leslie Logan (Kevin), Stacy VanDenHeuvel (Barry) and Allison Kuipers (John Robinson); his grandchildren, Hamish Robinson and Flora Robinson; and his sister Connie Williams. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
