She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin N. Boerman and Joan Boerman (Drew); her brothers-in-law, Ron Emmert and Dirk Walters; and her nephews, Kelly Boerman and Josh Boerman.
She is survived by: her husband Ron De Ruiter; her grandchildren, Seth, Casey Boeve, Cortney Boeve, Joshua, Holly De Ruiter, Tara Olger, Candi and Guy Stone; her siblings, Patricia, Craig Smith, Melvin "Dick", Edith Boerman, Doug Boerman and Olya Vnukova; and her in-laws, Alice Emmert, Donna De Ruiter, Marcia, Steve Besteman, Robert, Sue De Ruiter and Marilyn Walters.
