He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Calvin Sr. and Molly Humes; his spouse Sheila Ells of Sycamore; his children, Patricia Humes (Gary Paldan) of Kalamazoo, James Humes of Sycamore, Cheryl Kotecki (Greg) of Jenison and Marcia Humes of Fortrose; his grandchildren, Kaisa Heib (Tony), Maija, Annika Paldan, Molly, Jackson Humes, Weston and Ryan Kotecki; and his great grandchild Luca Calvin Heib.
