She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Heuvel and Minnie Vanden Heuvel (Beyer); and her son Tom. She is survived by: her husband Floyd "Flip" Maat; her children, Sandy (Dave Habers), Kathy (Jerry Roth) and Chuck (Michelle Maat); her brothers, Melvin (Mike) and Judee Vanden Heuvel of Battle Creek; and her in-laws, June Vanden Heuvel and Mick Zuverink of Zeeland. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren.
