He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Moore and Myrtis Moore (Thompson); and his brother-in-law Joel Brooks. He is survived by: his daughter Sheri Holstege (Todd) of Zeeland; his sisters, Barbara Brooks of Thomaston, GA and Edith Potts (Herchel) of Barnesville, GA; and his close friend Virginia Raybon of Thomaston, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
