He was predeceased by: his grandfather James "Butch" Thayer. He is survived by: his parents, Rebecca Ruiz and Rudy Ruiz; his sisters, Serina Ruiz and Alannah Wilkerson (Matt); his nephews, Jackson and Matthew; his grandmothers, Elizabeth Thayer and Socorro Longoria; and his aunts and uncles, Steven Thayer, Eric Thayer (Andrea), Magdalena Garcia (Roland), Ernesto Ruiz (Sandy), Elvira Garcia (Aron), Martin Ruiz, Sonia Ruiz Mullins and Andrew Ruiz (Brittany).
