He is survived by: his wife Anita Serrano; and his children, Albert Serrano (Celia) of Holland, Ernest Serrano (Pam) of Jenison, David Serrano (Sally) of Holland, Joel Serrano of Holland, Steve Serrano (Tracy) of Grand Haven, Edward Serrano (Irene) of Holland, Joe V. Gonzales Jr. of Austin, Texas and Debra Castorena (Juan A.) of Holland. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, 23 great-great-grandchildren.
