He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dearth and C. Ruby Dearth (Haught); his siblings, Gary Dearth and Doris Ledesma; his parents-in-law, Leona and Howard Petrie; his daughters, Amy Shafer and Michelle Thomas; and his stepdaughter Stephanie Rarick.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his stepson Darrin Miller (Lori); his son William III; his sisters, Betty Sullivan and Ruth Girdham; his close friends, Sandra Oulch and Darlene Belknap; and his grandchildren, Quintin Rearick (Amanda) and Colyn Rearick. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
