He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Benner; his grandchildren, Paul J. Kibert, Tiffany Kibert and Kayla Bowman (Carl); his great grandchildren, Robert "R. J.", Carter, Leighton and Karson; his son-in-law Paul Kibert; and his siblings, Colleen Herndon, Laura Cope, Rose Alan, Billy Hickman, David Hickman and Larry Hickman.
