She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Day and Muriel Day (Stone); her former husband George Gerig; and her husband Edwin "Bob" McKnight. She is survived by: her children, Sarah "Patty" McKnight of Hillsdale, Jennifer (Bill), Rob McKnight (Kathryn) of Pittsford and Scott McKnight (Marie) of Hillsdale; and her siblings, Nancy Tapp, Joyce Malarney, W. Allen Day (Carol) and Larry Day (Jackie). She is also survived by six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home (40 S Manning St, Hillsdale, MI 49242).
