He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lemley and Essie Lemley (Mears); his siblings, David, Steve Lemley and Linda Young; and his nephew Alvin Stout.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Cottrell (Carl) of Hillsdale, Roy Lemley Jr. (Ruth) of Hillsdale, Robert Lemley (Terri) of Lincoln Park, William Lemley (Kelly) of Hillsdale and David Lemley (Kim) of Taylor; his sisters, Sheila Riveria (Ricardo) of Detroit and Paulette Nevison (Murray) of Pickney; and the mother of his children Brenda Lemley (Ryan). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Greater Hillsdale Humane Society.
