We are sad to announce that on September 16, 2020, at the age of 91, Richard W. Kast of Hillsdale, Michigan, born in Cement City, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Kast and Etta Kast (Beal); his wife Dorothy Crowe; his son Greg Kast; his granddaughter Brittany Kast; his sisters, Madelyn Munger and Evelyn Hammel; his former wives, Viola Ellenwood and Jacqueline Arch; and his brothers, Robert and Charles Kast.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Drudge (Robert) of Mount Vernon, Linda Thomas (Lee) of Hillsdale, Patsy Hart (Tracy) of Litchfield, Laurie Oliver (Craig) of Hillsdale, Michael Kast of Houston, Patrick Kast (Fran) of Reading, Richard Kast (Rhonda) of Pittsford, David Kast (Wendy) of Dowagiac, William Kast (Stacey) of Piggott and Rockie Kast (Laura) of Jonesville; and his stepsons, William Butler Sr. (Cindy) of Pittsford, Paul Butler (Shawn) of Hillsdale and Donald Butler (Sheila) of Hillsdale. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
