He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Leo and Johanna Lucy Marquette (Osowski); his siblings, Joseph, Loretta, Harold, Marvin and Bernadine; and also, Ann-Marie Marquette and Anthony Marquette.
He is survived by: his wife Maryanne Kendziorski; his children, Julie Formella (Jim), Richard Marquette Jr. (Gail), Theresa Formella (Stephen), Beverly Marquette and Michael Marquette (Wendy); his grandchildren, Hanna Formella, Shaylee McAlister (Kieran), Alexander Formella, Emily Marquette, Claire Marquette, Sophia Formella, Christopher Formella, Abigail Formella, Ava Marquette and Alan Marquette; his great grandchildren, KJ McAlister and Isla McAlister; and his sisters, Elaine Manis (Virgil) and Judy Horner (Dan).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 at 5:30 PM at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home (40 S Manning St, Hillsdale, MI 49242). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (11 N Broad St, Hillsdale, MI 49242).
Memorial contributions are suggested to Angela Hospice Care Center in Livonia or Hospice of Hillsdale County.
