He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Blurton and Marilyn Blurton (Blakely); his children, Vicky and Scott; and his sister Janet Sharp.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Walker; his daughter Pam Kirkendall (Mark) of Tecumseh; his grandsons, Trevor Kirkendall (Nichoal) of St. Johns, Nick Kirkendall (Hannah MacFarlane) and Adam Kirkendall of Tecumseh; and his great grandchild Sadie.
