It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Randy Lynn Bates of Hillsdale, Michigan, who passed away on November 12, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Randy Lynn Bates to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harland Bates and Shirley Bates (Mosher); his son Shane Christopher Bates; and his brother-in-law Gary McCutcheon. He is survived by: his children, Jamie Llyod Bates of Montpelier, Eric Jason Bates (Christin) of Pittsford, Kevin Lynn Bates of Hillsdale and Samantha Bean (Connor) of Texas; and his sisters, Connie McCutcheon of Hillsdale and Lisa Brink (Mike) of Hillsdale. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
